Danielle Tsi

Raised in Singapore, Danielle moved to the United States in 2007 with a well-travelled Nikon and six years of photography under her belt. She abandoned her corporate heels two years later, to turn her lifelong love affair with food into pictures and words on her blog, Beyond the Plate.

Danielle brings a simple and evocative aesthetic to her images, and was a finalist in the Best Food Photography category for Saveur Magazine’s 2011 Best Food Blog Awards. Her work has been featured on Design Sponge, Saveur and WordPress.com, among others. She’s also a regular contributor to the Etsy blog. Clients include Esin Restaurant, Food and Wine, and ADF Foods.
